Same here. I’ve been using watchOS 10 since June and I still don’t feel like the new navigation is intuitive.
If they were going to change things, I think I would have made the side button an action button and let the user assign it how they wanted.
That would mean 2 action buttons on the Ultra, but what’s more ULTRA than that?
@matt I love the new design. No user interface is intuitive, you just have to relearn 10y of muscle memory, that takes some time.
@matt I like the changes (especially the tweak to the honeycomb, which I’ve always liked despite its obvious limitations), but the action button idea makes sense.
If I were designing it, I’d want scroll down with crown to bring in notifications in addition to the current scroll up for widgets. Also, I think I’d slide in control center from left (and possibly swipe in from either side like a carousel) since the watch face swiping UI is gone.
